Nippon Koei Co., Ltd., together with its subsidiaries, provides engineering consulting and electric power engineering services in Japan and internationally. It operates through six segments: Domestic Consulting, International Consulting, Power Engineering, Urban & Spatial Development, Energy, and Real Estate Leasing. The Domestic Consulting segment engages in operations, such as site surveying, planning, evaluation/assessment, designing, and construction management, as well as operational advice in the fields of water resources development, energy development, agricultural development, transportation, urban and regional development, and management of natural and social environment. The International Consulting segment provides site surveying, planning, evaluation/assessment, designing, construction supervision, operational advice in the fields of water resources development, energy development, agricultural development, transportation, urban and regional development, social development, and management of natural and social environment. The Power Engineering segment engages in manufacturing and sale of control devices and systems for power generating and transforming stations, water turbines, power generators, and voltage converters, as well as electric power related equipment, such as line taps for power transmission and distribution networks. It also engages in designing and implementation of various construction works for electric power and general electric facilities. The Urban & Spatial Development segment engages in the structuring, planning, design, and operation of urban and spatial development business. The Energy segment engages in research, development, design, construction, management, operation, support, and system/technology development of power generation/energy management operations. The Real Estate Leasing segment engages in the leasing of real estate. Nippon Koei Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1946 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
