Algorae Pharmaceuticals Limited, established in 1987 and based in Melbourne, Australia, is a pharmaceutical development company. The firm primarily conducts its research and development in New Zealand, focusing on living cell technologies. Its product pipeline includes several key candidates: AI-116, a novel combination therapy featuring cannabidiol and an existing pharmaceutical ingredient, intended for the treatment of dementia, including Alzheimer's disease; NTCELL, an alginate-coated capsule developed to address Parkinson's disease; and AI-168, another combination drug that combines a cannabinoid with an off-patent pharmaceutical ingredient, aimed at treating cardiovascular conditions like hypertension.
