It invests in a fund which invests in public equity and fixed income markets across the globe. The fund seeks to invest in securities of companies operating across diversified sectors. It primarily invests in units of BG Umbrella Fund Plc - BG Fund, a feeder fund to BG Master Fund Plc, which in turn invests in value stocks of companies and fixed income securities. The fund employs both fundamental and quantitative analysis with a bottom-up security selection approach to create its portfolio. It employs multiple strategies including convertible bond arbitrage, volatility arbitrage, gamma trading, merger arbitrage, special situations, equity long/short, value, capital structure arbitrage, credit long/short, and restructuring/distressed securities strategies to make its investments.
