New Energy Metals Corp., a junior mineral exploration company, engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties in Canada. It primarily explores for copper and lithium deposits. It has an option to acquire 100% interest in the Troitsa Kate copper property that comprise 26 mineral claims covering an area of approximately 7,000 hectares located in the Omineca mining division of British Columbia; the Roslyn lithium property comprising 12 mining claims located in Ontario; and the Atikokan lithium property consisting of 12 mining claims located in Ontario. The company was formerly known as Darien Resource Development Corp. and changed its name to New Energy Metals Corp. in April 2018. New Energy Metals Corp. was incorporated in 2017 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
