Stock Events

Dividends received by stock and over time

Dividends Received shows the dividend payments associated with the portfolio or watchlist you currently have selected. Use it to review the combined total, compare annual payouts, and see how much each stock or ETF paid.

Open Dividends, select the portfolio or watchlist you want to review, then select Analytics in the dashboard options. Scroll down to Dividends Received.

View dividends received in the app

  1. Open Home and select Dividends.
  2. Use the round portfolio selector in the top-right corner to select the portfolio or watchlist you want to review.
  3. In the dashboard options, select Analytics.
  4. Scroll down to Dividends Received.

View dividends received on the web

  1. Use the portfolio selector at the top of the portfolio panel to select the portfolio or watchlist you want to review.
  2. Open Dividends from the Home navigation.
  3. Select Analytics in the dashboard options.
  4. Scroll down to Dividends Received.

Understand the Dividends Received section

  • Total Dividends: The combined received amount for the history included in the section. The available history covers up to 10 years of recent dividend payments.
  • Chart: Compare the total received in each payment year. This view is available when there is enough annual history.
  • Holdings: Review the total received from each stock or ETF over the same period. Holdings are ordered from the highest payout to the lowest. Select one to open its stock page.

Portfolio and currency behavior

Dividends Received follows the portfolio or watchlist you currently have selected. Switching portfolios reloads the section with the dividend history for that portfolio.

Only dividends with a payment date in the past are included. Amounts are based on the shares recorded for each dividend and are displayed in the dividend reporting currency used by the selected portfolio or watchlist.

The section is not shown when Stock Events has no received-dividend history for the selected portfolio. Historical dividend data is not always complete, so some entries may be missing or inaccurate.
