It operates through the following segments: Vessel Owning and Chartering, Ship Management, Marine Products Sales and Distribution, Shipping and Technical Services, and Other. The Vessel Owning and Chartering segment deals with the chartering of vessels to customers. The Ship Management segment handles technical management of vessels. The Marine Products Sales and Distribution segment includes trading of goods such as supplies, chemicals, and gases required for ship. The Shipping and Technical Services segment provides agency services to ships calling at ports, and providing workshop services for boats. The Other segment refers to the management of all divisions and administrative activities. The company was founded by Ghazi Abdulrahim A. Al-Ibrahim, Nasser Baker M. Al-Qahtani, Fahad Sunetan Al-Otaibi, Abdullah Abdulrahman A. Al-Shuraim, Hazza Al-Qahtani, and Anis Issa Mohamed Al-Zadjali on March 15, 2003 and is headquartered in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
