Highlight Event and Entertainment AG is a Swiss company, headquartered in Pratteln, primarily focused on event marketing through its subsidiaries. Its operations are structured across three distinct segments: Film, Sports, and Sports and Event Marketing. The Film segment is responsible for film production, the exploitation of film rights, and the acquisition and distribution of movies for theatrical release, home entertainment (DVD/Blu-ray), and television. The Sports segment encompasses the organization of events like the annual World Boxing Super Series, alongside extensive television and digital media operations under the SPORT1 brand. It also provides production, content solutions, and content marketing services through PLAZAMEDIA, in addition to managing betting, poker, and casino gaming activities. Furthermore, this segment supports professional teams and athletes with sports preparation and executes various sporting events and brand activation initiatives. The Sports and Event Marketing segment specializes in marketing prestigious events such as the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Super Cup, the Eurovision Song Contest, and performances by the Vienna Philharmonic. Originally known as Escor Casinos & Entertainment SA, the company rebranded to Highlight Event and Entertainment AG in May 2012.
