To achieve its goals, the fund typically invests a minimum of 80% of its net assets—supplemented by any borrowed capital for investment—in municipal securities. These selected securities are intended to generate income exempt from both federal and Nebraska state income taxes. Alternatively, the fund may direct its investments towards open or closed-end mutual funds that generally focus on holding municipal bonds.
