Matthews China Dividend Fund Investor Class 

The primary aim of this investment is to deliver a comprehensive return on capital, with a strong focus on generating ongoing income. Under normal market conditions, the fund pursues this objective by allocating a minimum of 80% of its net assets—a figure that encompasses funds obtained through borrowing for investment—to dividend-yielding equity securities of businesses situated in China. Additionally, it maintains the flexibility to acquire convertible debt and other equity instruments from Chinese companies, without regard to their term or credit standing, including those that lack a rating or would be classified as below investment grade if assessed. Within this context, the definition of "China" extends to include its administrative and other districts, notably Hong Kong.
