is Agnc genuinely a good stock to hold or purely good dividend payouts?

don't listen to this fool. so what you want to pay attention to with reits is there bvps. they usually trade in line with that value, which is released once a month. agncs book value has been slowly increasing, which is actually outstanding considering the environment they have to deal with. I got 1k for 120 a month and its never failed.

Since 2013 the AGNC dividend has decreased 7 times in the last decade. It hasn’t increased not once in the last decade. This is factual. PSA has increased their dividend 6 times in the last decade & O has increased there’s 56 times over the same timeframe. Like I said, AGNC is trash! O & PSA however have continuously raised the dividend. AGNC is unprofitable while O & PSA is. So Yes! You may want to listen to this fool. :)

how is O profitable when their earnings is 800k but their dividend payment is 5b?

bvps is increasing and rates will drop will which increase their profit. you're just real mad youre a bag holder. I can see it all day. some of us got in a lot cheaper than their IPO. lol

not talking about you being a bag holder. I bought in the 6s. have fun holding the bags. when rates drop and they start making more, you'll start to make back some of that money you lost.

I’m not bag holding because I don’t own AGNC. There’s better REIT investments (O, ADC, PSA, AMT). ;)

“bvps is increasing and rates will drop which will increase profit.”. You just confirmed AGNC is unprofitable. But let me dive deeper. AGNC has been on a red ward, downward slope since 2012. What happens when stock prices drop a lot and companies are unprofitable? Dividends get cut! Dont take my word for it, go to the graph and zoom out and see how it was $35-$40 then and it’s under $10 now. Up until a couple years ago rates had nothing to do with it. So what about the downward trend in stock price and dividends cuts prior to 2022? I don’t see the current rates making O, ADC, PSA, AMT cut their dividends & be unprofitable. I expect a response with hard evidence to support your AGNC claim to fame this time because I’m dropping mundo facts against it Brodie.

sorry bvps is book value per share. I use this to buy reits specifically. look for anything trading below it's book value, find out why of course ( could be a lot of things of course) and make an educated decision. but agnc is rated a pretty heavy buy and their bvps has been on the up and up, which can give them the ability to increase it's dividends further down the road along with it's share price naturally rising. when rates drop, this will prosper.

and if you're referring to the stocks on my watchlist that's just my watchlist for stockevents has nothing to do with my portfolio.

anyone getting more then a grand a month? always curious about other retailers choices. if anyone has a good one post it. always like to hear what the masses are saying.

Shaun

how much is everyone getting a month from this? I'm at 120 a month with 1k.

0
Shaun

why would I be talking about my market value or actual investment amount that doesn't even make sense when talking about amount you receive off dividends that are paid per share. The 1k is implied amount of shares.

1
Jeremy Wortham

there’s no way that 1k is getting you $120 a month.

0
Jeremy Wortham

I’d word it as 1k shares. ;)

7 figure account I only use this for the news. not even close to all my stocks. you new. I can tell.

7 figures my butt. haha. I looked at all the stocks you’ve added to your watchlist. all are crap stocks with high yields. a 7 figure portfolio wouldn’t be fooling with crap stocks. You sir are a yield chaser.

there's always a real dumb one on these threads. and we found you buddy.

if you say so. my portfolio is beating the S&P 500 by .21%. so I must be a smart dummy. lol

stick to etfs you shouldn't be in charge or investing your own money. you are watching one that's how you need to go. pay a small fee and let someone who knows anything do it for you

dude calm down. you're new. can't even figure out simple things like 1k or for you 1000 multipled (or times for you) .12 ( the dividend paid per month) out. I had to shoot you down. you're sad. and when I said "implied" and you said you should have typed in 1k shares it proved it. have a good day being a bum. I btw was asking people who are actually good at investing. not you. and the fact your looking at my watchlist who cares I could hit in anything I want with as many shares as I want. get to more then 5 figures which I bet you're in, then come talk then.
