Dividend

What is a Dividend?

A dividend is a distribution of profits by a corporation to its shareholders. They are often paid quarterly and distributed in cash.

Forward (FWD) vs Trailing (TTM) Dividend:

A forward dividend is the amount of a company's current dividend that it expects to pay out over a certain time period, generally 12 months.

A trailing dividend shows a company's actual dividend payments over the previous 12 months.
