You can easily import your transactions from your broker or anywhere else. Here's how you do it.
CSV-Files have to be delimited by either , (comma) or ; (semicolon). Excel files have to be .xlsx-files and the data you want to import has to be on the first sheet.
The transactions will be imported into your currently selected watchlist. Existing transactions in that watchlist will not be affected.
To avoid duplicate transactions and to give you the ability to import your transactions over and over again, we will try to match existing transactions. If there is an existing transaction with the same symbol, date, price and quantity, we will not import it again.
The rows and columns of your CSV- or Excel-File have to be in the following format.
Symbol | Date | Quantity | Price | Currency |
---|---|---|---|---|
AAPL | 2020-10-01 | 5 | 116.96 | USD |
AAPL | 2020-10-05 | -2.3 | 124.40 | USD |
MSF.F | 20-10-06 | 8 | 215.81 | EUR |
The first row needs to be a header. The titles of the header row can be anything. Dates can be formatted as either yyyy-mm-dd, yyyy\/mm\/dd, dd\/mm\/yyyy or dd.mm.yyyy. Decimal places should always be indicated by a dot, not a comma. Don't include thousands separators or currency symbols.
Transactions over your current watchlist spots limit will not be imported. If you have more individual stocks in your import than you have watchlist spots available, we will import until the limit is reached. For unlimited spots, consider subscribing to Stock Events Pro.
