It serves automotive, maritime propulsion, rail, mining/materials handling, oil and gas, agriculture, racing transmission, robot, aviation, electromobility, and wind power industries, as well as crusher gearboxes, commercial vehicles, industrial gear units, and contract manufacturers. The company was formerly known as Oerlikon Geartec AG Klingelnberg AG and changed its name to Klingelnberg AG in March 2004. Klingelnberg AG was founded in 1863 and is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland.
