Confederation Minerals Ltd., a junior resource company, engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral deposits in North America. The company explores for gold and potash projects. It primarily holds a 70% interest in the Newman Todd project located in the Red Lake mining district of northern Ontario. The company was formerly known as Sienna Minerals Ltd. and changed its name to Confederation Minerals Ltd. in April 2007.
