These underlying holdings include U.S. and international equity funds, bond funds, and short-term investment vehicles. The portfolio manager employs a dynamic asset allocation strategy that systematically evolves over time. Its ultimate goal is to gradually shift its asset mix to resemble that of the Fidelity Freedom Blend Income Fund, a transition expected to conclude approximately 10 to 19 years following the fund's 2005 inception.
