Its Basic Chemicals segment produces and sells olefin and aromatic products, which include ethylene, propylene, linealene/alpha olefin, paraxylene, cyclohexane, and styrene monomer. The Functional Materials segment offers lubricants, advanced materials and performance chemicals, electronic materials, and bitumen/functional paving materials, as well as agricultural biotechnology products, including pesticides and functional feed products. The Resources segment is involved in the exploration, development, production, and sale of crude oil, natural gas, and coal; and geothermal power generation.
