Founded in 1942, the organization was originally known as Nippon Meat Packers Inc. before rebranding to NH Foods Ltd. in June 2014. Its core operations are divided into several segments. The Processed Foods Business division manufactures and distributes a range of hams and sausages, notably under the SCHAU ESSEN and Utsukushi-no-Kuni labels. This segment also supplies deli items and other prepared foods, featuring brands like Chuka Meisai and Ishigama Kobo.
