Tym Corporation, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, is a diversified manufacturing and sales company established in 1951. The company specializes in three primary areas: machinery, cigarette filters, and flatware. Its Machinery division provides a wide range of agricultural, stock-breeding, farming, construction, and industrial equipment, including popular items like tractors, combines, and rice trans-planters. Beyond direct sales, this division also engages in the export of agricultural machinery and critical automotive and heavy equipment components, such as transmission assemblies, cast steels, gears, and shafts, supplying major international partners like Iseki, IHI, and John Deere. The Cigarette Filter division is a key manufacturer of diverse filter types, including acetate mono, dual charcoal, recessed, triple, menthol thread, flavor, capsule, and various tube and tube-type pattern filters. These are supplied to Korean cigarette manufacturers and exported across Asia to markets such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Tym's Culture Service division focuses on the import and distribution of foreign journals, books, and newspapers, alongside offering air transport services and global delivery for various publications. Lastly, the Metal division produces both Western-style flatware, encompassing spoons, forks, and knives, and traditional Korean-style spoons. The company, initially known as Tong Yang Moolsan Co., Ltd., officially adopted the name Tym Corporation in March 2021.
