Established in 1969 and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, Capro Corporation is a chemical manufacturer specializing in the production and sale of caprolactam and ammonium sulfate fertilizers. The company's primary product, caprolactam, serves as a crucial foundational material for nylon fibers, utilized extensively in clothing, tire cords, fishing nets, and carpets. It also plays a role in the formulation of nylon resins, mechanical components, and advanced engineering plastics. Capro's ammonium sulfate fertilizer is a key ingredient for various mixed and compound fertilizers. Furthermore, its applications span the artificial silk and cellophane industries, the creation of ammonia compounds, diverse ammonium salts, potash alum, gypsum boards, light bulbs, synthetic resins, and pharmaceuticals.
