Havyard Group ASA primarily engages in the shipbuilding, engineering, ship design, and ship equipment businesses worldwide. It operates through four segments: Shipbuilding Technology, Ship Design & Solutions, Power & Control, and Norwegian Greentech. The Shipbuilding Technology segment designs and constructs vessels and ship systems, as well as offers support services to shipowners and shipyards. The Ship Design & Solutions segment develops, sells, and delivers ship design and engineering, and system packages to yards and shipping companies. The Power & Control segment manufactures and supplies diesel- and hybrid-electric propulsion systems, integrated automation systems, and bridge systems, as well as navigation and communication packages for vessels; designs, engineers, and installs electrical systems; and develops and delivers control and automation systems for ships. The Norwegian Greentech segment designs, engineers, and delivers ballast water treatment systems. The company was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Fosnavåg, Norway.
