It owns approximately 6,867 kilometers of natural gas pipeline; and 1,000 operating vehicles. The company was formerly known as Shanghai Pudong Dazhong Taxi Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Shanghai Dazhong Public Utilities (Group) Co., Ltd. in May 2003.
