Mendus AB (publ), a biopharmaceutical entity formerly known as Immunicum AB (publ) until its name change in June 2022, specializes in developing immunotherapies and vaccines designed to prevent cancer recurrence. Its primary investigational compound, ilixadencel, is currently progressing through a Phase II MERECA clinical study for kidney cancer, alongside Phase I/II trials targeting liver cancer and gastrointestinal stromal tumors. Additionally, the company is advancing DCP-001, which is undergoing Phase II ADVANCE-II clinical research for acute myeloid leukemia and Phase I/II ALISON trials for ovarian cancers.
