Gibson Energy Inc. is a North American firm specializing in liquids infrastructure, responsible for collecting, storing, optimizing, processing, and marketing various liquid and refined petroleum products. Its operations are divided into two distinct segments: Infrastructure and Marketing. The Infrastructure division manages an extensive network of essential assets, comprising oil terminals, facilities for loading and unloading via rail, gathering pipelines, and a dedicated crude oil processing plant. Meanwhile, the Marketing segment focuses on the procurement, sale, storage, and optimization of a wide array of hydrocarbon products. This portfolio includes crude oil, natural gas liquids, road asphalt, roofing flux, frac oils, various light and heavy distillates, vacuum gas oil, and an oil-based drilling mud product. Established in 1950, the company, originally known as Gibson Energy Holdings ULC before its renaming to Gibson Energy Inc. in April 2011, maintains its headquarters in Calgary, Canada.
