Additionally, it provides employment support, logistics, and office support services; and operates research institutions. The company was formerly known as Gakken Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Gakken Holdings Co., Ltd. in October 2009. Gakken Holdings Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1947 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
