The company holds 100% interest in UKCS Seaward Licences P2244, which contains the Pilot and Harbour heavy oil discoveries; P2482, which includes the Elke and Narwhal discoveries; and P2634, which contains the Fynn heavy oil discovery. It also provides P2650 which include shallow gas prospects; and P2680 which contains Earlham development project, the Orwell re-development project, and the Clover gas prospect. The company formerly known as Orcadian Energy Limited and changed its name to Orcadian Energy Plc. Orcadian Energy Plc was founded in 2014 and is based in London, the United Kingdom.
