Argonaut Resources NL, an exploration and development company specializing in mineral resources, was established in 1985, initially under the name Star Mining Corporation NL. Based in Adelaide, Australia, the firm actively explores for deposits of iron oxide, lithium, uranium, copper, gold, cobalt, and nickel across Zambia and various regions of Australia. In Zambia, Argonaut maintains a significant 90% ownership in three key projects: Lumwana West, which covers a single exploration license; Kamapanda, encompassing one exploration license across 225 square kilometers; and the Kalaba East project, situated in the North-Western province. The company's Australian operations include an 80% interest in the Higginsville joint venture in Western Australia, which holds one exploration license in the Eastern Goldfields. In South Australia, Argonaut fully owns the Murdie project, comprising two exploration licenses over 1,105 square kilometers in the Eastern Gawler Craton, as well as the Aroona project, located in the Southern Willouran Ranges with one exploration license. Additionally, it holds interests in the Torrens joint venture (featuring one exploration license) and the Frome project (with three exploration licenses spanning 2,894 square kilometers). Furthermore, Argonaut fully possesses the Kroombit project in Queensland, which includes ML 5631 and the surrounding mineral development license, MDL 2002.
