Artisan Mid Cap Value Fund Investor Class 

This fund aims to achieve the highest possible capital appreciation over an extended period. Ordinarily, it commits at least 80% of its total assets—including any capital borrowed for investment—to purchasing common shares of mid-sized enterprises. This investment is valued at the market price at the moment of acquisition. The fund's management characterizes a medium-sized company as one whose market capitalization is larger than that of the smallest company within the Russell Midcap® Index, but simultaneously less than three times the weighted average market capitalization of all companies in that index.
