Blumar S.A. engages in the fishing and aquaculture businesses. The company produces and sells fresh or frozen salmon products in the United States, Brazil and the rest of Latin America, Europe, and Asia. It also provides fishmeal and fish oil products used in the production of fish food and animal feed in Chile, Japan, China, Korea; and frozen mackerel in West Coast Africa, Peru, Eastern Europe, and internationally. In addition, the company produces and sells mussels primarily in Europe, the United States, Russia, and Asia; and other products, such as fish sticks and fillets of hake primarily in Chile, as well as for export to the United States, Europe, and Latin America. Blumar S.A. was founded in 1948 and is based in Las Condes, Chile.
