BMO Equal Weight REITs Index (CAD Units) 

This exchange-traded fund (ETF) offers unmanaged access to prominent real estate investment trusts (REITs) operating within Canada. Inclusion in the underlying index requires companies to be traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and satisfy specific criteria for liquidity and investment viability, notably a market capitalization of at least CAD 800 million. Rather than allocating based on market capitalization, the index applies an equal-weighting strategy to its holdings. This approach is designed to mitigate the impact of underperformance from any single constituent and may consequently lead to a greater emphasis on smaller-cap firms within the portfolio. The index undergoes rebalancing and constituent adjustments bi-annually.
