CanSino Biologics Inc. is a Chinese biotechnology company dedicated to the research, development, manufacturing, and marketing of vaccines within the People's Republic of China. The company's current vaccine pipeline includes prominent candidates such as Convidecia and an inhaled version (Ad5-nCoV for Inhalation), both designed to combat recombinant novel coronavirus disease. They also have Ad5-EBOV, an Ebola virus vaccine, and MCV2 and MCV4, which are developed for preventing N. meningitides infections. CanSino is actively advancing several vaccines through Phase I clinical trials. These include DTcP vaccines for infants and a DTcP Booster vaccine, both intended to provide improved protection against pertussis where primary vaccination efficacy may have diminished.
