This index is designed to track the performance of a specific segment of the Chinese bond market. It comprises debt instruments issued by the Chinese government and its policy banks, which are traded on the China Interbank Bond Market (CIBM). Eligible bonds must possess remaining maturities of at least one year but less than ten years. To maintain diversification, the weighting of any individual policy bank issuer is restricted to a maximum of 9% during the index's monthly rebalancing.
