Frontera Energy Corporation is an energy enterprise dedicated to exploring, developing, and producing crude oil and natural gas across South America. The company's comprehensive asset base includes equity stakes in 35 exploration and production blocks situated in Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, and Peru, complemented by its ownership of key pipeline and port facilities within Colombia. As of December 31, 2021, its aggregate proved plus probable reserves totaled 167 million barrels of oil equivalent. Established in 1985, Frontera Energy Corporation, which was previously known as Pacific Exploration & Production Corporation until its name change in June 2017, operates from its headquarters in Calgary, Canada.
