The fund's primary objective is to deliver substantial current income, while a secondary aim is to achieve capital appreciation. It predominantly invests in a diverse mix of underlying Fidelity funds, including those focused on U.S. stocks, international stocks, fixed-income securities, and short-term holdings. The investment adviser employs a strategic asset allocation approach that gradually evolves, with the portfolio structure ultimately converging to resemble that of the Fidelity Freedom® Blend Income Fund roughly 10 to 19 years after 2010.
