The Fund aims to achieve capital growth by investing at least 85% of its assets in the Jupiter Merian Asia Pacific Fund (the Master Fund), the investment objective of which is to deliver a return, net of fees, greater than that of the MSCI All Countries Asia Pacific ex-Japan Index with net dividends reinvested over rolling three-year periods. The Fund invests at least 85% of its assets in the Master Fund and may hold up to a maximum of 15% of its assets in money market instruments, deposits and cash. The Master Fund invests at least 70% of the value of its property in a diversified portfolio of equities in developed and emerging markets in the Asia Pacific region, excluding Japan. Such equities are those of companies that are domiciled, incorporated or listed in the Asia Pacific region (excluding Japan), or that conduct a significant part of their business in those markets.
