The objective of the Sub-fund is to provide capital growth, with the potential for income, over any 3-year period. This Sub-fund will provide exposure to a range of asset classes across any economic sector and geographic area in line with the following asset allocation. Exposure to shares may vary between 20% and 60%. Under normal circumstances, exposure is expected to be between 35% and 55% and will depend on the views of the Investment Manager in relation to opportunities or threats to share prices around the world. To provide the above exposure, a minimum of 70% of the Sub-fund will be invested in active and/or passively managed collective investment schemes (which may include schemes operated by the ACD, associates or controllers of the ACD). The Sub-fund may also invest directly (maximum of 30%) in transferable securities, such as shares, bonds, investment trusts or structured products.
