The Fund aims to achieve income together with the potential for capital growth over the long term (5 years or more). The Fund aims to outperform the FTSE Actuaries UK Conventional Gilts All Stocks Index after fees on a rolling annualised 5-year basis (meaning a period of five years, no matter which day you start on). The Fund is actively managed and invests at least 70% of its Net Asset Value directly (i.e. excluding the effect of any exposure obtained via derivatives) in Sterling denominated conventional bonds issued by the UK government (any standard UK government gilt excluding gilts that are index-linked).
