The fund manager seeks to grow the Fund (through increases in investment value and income) over a rolling 7-year period, after deducting fees and costs, by investing in a diversified portfolio of company shares. A Minimum of 50% of the Fund will be invested in other collective investment schemes. Up to a maximum of 50% of the Fund, may be invested in funds managed or operated by Sarasin or its associates. Through these investments, the Fund will indirectly be exposed to shares, also known as equities, issued by companies from around the world, and may indirectly be exposed to other asset classes including bonds, alternative investments and cash. The Fund may invest up to a maximum of 50% in these asset classes directly .
