The company operates through two divisions, Fragrance and Flavour. The Fragrance division provides fragrance ingredients and active beauty products; fine fragrances; and fragrances for use in fabric and personal care, skin and hair care, household, and oral care products. The Flavour division offers flavors and tastes for products in confectionery, biscuits and crackers, cereals, chewing gums, chocolates, and candies; beverages, such as soft drinks, fruit juices, and instant beverages; dairy products, including ice creams, yoghurts, desserts, cream cheese, and spreads; and savory products comprising readymade meals, noodles, processed meat and snacks, and poultry products. The company operates in Switzerland, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, North America, Latin America, and the Asia Pacific. Givaudan SA was founded in 1796 and is headquartered in Vernier, Switzerland.
