Hindustan Oil Exploration Company Limited (HOEC) is an Indian enterprise primarily engaged in the discovery, development, and extraction of crude oil and natural gas resources, both onshore and offshore, across India. In addition to its core upstream activities, the company also offers a range of oilfield equipment and related services. As of March 31, 2021, its estimated proved and probable reserves, calculated on a working interest basis, amounted to 41.88 million barrels of oil equivalent. Founded in 1983, HOEC maintains its operational base in Chennai, India.
