Established on September 14, 2001, in accordance with Japan's Act on Investment Trusts and Investment Corporations, Japan Prime Realty Investment Corporation (JPR) commenced trading on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Real Estate Investment Trust Section on June 14, 2002, with an initial issuance of 289,600 investment units. By the conclusion of its 37th fiscal period on June 30, 2020, JPR's outstanding units had expanded to 958,250, a result of subsequent public offerings and various capital-raising initiatives. The corporation entrusts the asset management of its portfolio to Tokyo Realty Investment Management, Inc. (TRIM). JPR's principal aim is to enhance unitholder value through the effective oversight of its property holdings, which are primarily composed of office and retail spaces.
