Ordinarily, the fund dedicates a minimum of 80% of its investable assets (which includes any borrowed capital for investment purposes) to fixed-income securities with short to moderate durations. This encompasses a range of debt instruments such as corporate bonds, company notes, and various government-issued obligations, including those from government agencies. Additionally, the fund has the discretion to allocate up to 35% of its net assets to higher-risk, higher-yielding bonds, often referred to as "junk bonds" or speculative-grade debt.
