Mapletree Industrial Trust (MIT) operates as a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), publicly traded on the Singapore Exchange's Main Board. The trust's core strategy involves acquiring a varied collection of income-generating properties. This includes industrial facilities predominantly located in Singapore, as well as data centers globally outside of Singapore. Additionally, it invests in assets related to real estate. As of September 30, 2020, MIT managed a substantial portfolio valued at S$6.6 billion. This portfolio encompassed 84 properties in Singapore and 27 properties across North America, with the latter including 13 data centers held via a joint venture with Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd.
