It operates in two segments, Functional Fillers and Specialty Alumina. The Functional Fillers segment manufactures and distributes non-halogenated flame-retardant fillers for the plastics and cable industry, as well as additives. The Specialty Alumina segment offers ceramic materials and ceramic bodies for applications in technical ceramics and the refractory industry. Nabaltec AG was incorporated in 1994 and is headquartered in Schwandorf, Germany.
