Oroco Resource Corp. operates as an exploration-stage company, specializing in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties throughout Mexico. Its primary focus is the exploration for copper and gold deposits. A significant undertaking involves the consolidation of mineral concessions that form the Santo Tomas porphyry copper project, located in Sinaloa State. Additionally, Oroco holds full ownership (100% interest) in the Xochipala project in Guerrero, which comprises the 193-hectare Celia Gene and Celia Generosa contiguous mineral concessions. It also possesses the 100-hectare Salvador property, situated just west of Chilpancingo, also in Guerrero. Established in 2006, the company maintains its corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Canada.
