Poniard Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the discovery and market introduction of cancer treatments. Its flagship product candidate, Picoplatin, is a platinum-based therapy targeting various cancer types, such as small cell lung, colorectal, prostate, and ovarian cancers. The company has advanced Picoplatin through several clinical stages, including a pivotal Phase III SPEAR trial for small cell lung cancer patients in a second-line treatment setting.
