The PIMCO StocksPLUS International Fund (U.S. Dollar-Hedged) Class A strives to achieve a total return greater than that of the U.S. dollar-hedged Morgan Stanley Capital International Europe, Australasia and Far East (EAFE) Index. Under typical market conditions, it accomplishes this by allocating capital to equity derivatives tied to non-U.S. companies. These derivative holdings are supported by an underlying portfolio of various fixed income assets. Such assets are defined as debt obligations, including traditional bonds and other similar securities, issued by both public and private sector entities, whether based in the U.S. or internationally.
