Poxel S.A., a biopharmaceutical firm in the clinical stage, is dedicated to creating innovative treatments for a range of metabolic disorders, including type 2 diabetes and various liver ailments. Its flagship product, Imeglimin, is an oral drug candidate that has successfully completed Phase III clinical trials in Japan. This promising medication is also undergoing Phase III trials in the United States and Europe for the management of type 2 diabetes. Imeglimin works by enhancing pancreatic beta cell function and mitigating insulin resistance, thereby reducing key cardiovascular and metabolic risk factors such as elevated blood lipid levels and excessive body weight.
