Qutoutiao Inc. is a Chinese technology company that develops and operates mobile content platforms, facilitating the distribution, consumption, and sharing of entertainment content. Its flagship offering is the Qutoutiao mobile application, which delivers personalized streams of articles and short videos to users, tailored to their individual profiles, interests, and past behaviors. The company also provides Midu Novels, a popular mobile literature application granting users free access to a wide array of titles, as well as Midu Lite, an enhanced version of Midu Novels that incorporates a user loyalty program. Established in 2016, the Shanghai-headquartered firm was formerly known as Qtech Ltd., officially changing its name to Qutoutiao Inc. in July 2018.
