Under typical market conditions, this fund allocates at least 80% of its total capital (including any funds obtained through borrowing) to closed-end investment vehicles focused on fixed-income assets. These underlying closed-end funds are selected based on whether their market price is below or above their net asset value, and they must consistently issue scheduled cash payments. By investing in these closed-end funds, which themselves hold international fixed-income instruments, the fund gains indirect access to foreign securities, potentially encompassing those from developing markets. It maintains a non-diversified investment strategy.
