This fund's principal strategy involves allocating capital predominantly to securities designed to generate income. Such investments typically encompass common stocks that distribute dividends and various types of interest-bearing debt instruments. A significant portion, specifically a minimum of 60%, of the portfolio's total assets is usually committed to common stocks and other equity-related holdings. Furthermore, the fund has the flexibility to allocate up to 30% of its investments to equity or equity-like securities issued by companies situated outside the United States, including those in developing countries.
